2019 is set to be an exciting year for Intelsius with developments being made to core product ranges and further expansion planned to aid in the global supply of packaging solutions. Green innovations are also expected in an effort continually improve the potential to reuse and recycle products leading to greener packaging solutions.

Looking back, 2018 turned out to be a very successful year for Intelsius, the company started the year by celebrating their 20th year of trading within the life sciences industry. This celebration was quickly followed by the launch of the ORCA M range; a multi-use, passive temperature controlled packaging solution capable of maintaining payload integrity at multiple temperature ranges for up to 96 hours.

There was global expansion as Intelsius announced a distributor partnership with NaraTech Pharmaceutical Consultancy allowing for greater Middle Eastern coverage of sample transport and temperature controlled packaging solutions. Finally to cap off the year Intelsius were recognised at the York Press Business Awards, winning the category for “Large Business of the Year”. This recognition was due to the constant innovation shown within the company partnered with the high quality sought across all areas of the business.

Furthermore the new website was launched in early October, offering customers the ability to purchase effective packaging solutions from both the temperature controlled and sample transport ranges in just a couple of clicks.

Looking forward into 2019 the vision surrounds connectivity, growth and greener performance. Connectivity will be achieved through the launch of the ORCA MX, a fully trackable system that is capable of all the performance and usability benefits of the recently launched ORCA M range. These improvements to ORCA multi-use products create greener and more cost effective options when compared to single use packaging solutions. To support this growth to the ORCA range the head office facilities will be expanded, with an ORCA Centre of Excellence opening opposite the current offices in early 2019. The centre of excellence will act as the manufacturing hub for all ORCA products ensuring quality standards for ORCA systems remain consistently high and the product can be produced in ideal conditions.

The ORCA MX product range will first be visible at the January Temperature Controlled Logistics event. Intelsius are proud to announce they are exhibiting once again; to view the ORCA MX system, alongside a range of new innovations visit stand 32 at the conference running over the 29th and 30th of January at Twickenham stadium.

Running simultaneously to the conference and throughout Q4 Intelsius will be looking to develop a new European service, launching a German based fulfilment site. This site will allow customers to rent or purchase pre-prepared packaging solutions, this will not only allow for quality conditioning of the system but reduces customer costs by providing a more complete temperature controlled packaging service.

Intelsius would like to thank all our customers for their continued business and support over the past year and hope we can continue to protect life’s most precious cargo for many years to come.
