Intelsius BroschüreIntelsius Expands International Manufacturing and Distribution Infrastructure with New Irish Subsidiary
(YORK, United Kingdom) – Intelsius, a global manufacturer and distributor of environmentally safe, temperature-controlled and regulatory-compliant packaging solutions, is pleased to announce the formation of DGP Intelsius Teo, a wholly owned subsidiary based in Cork, Ireland. This new subsidiary enables Intelsius to meet the increasing demand for temperature control and sample transport packaging systems for the life science sector in this region.
“Ireland represents an important strategic market opportunity for Intelsius, and our new wholly owned Irish subsidiary will give us the ability to leverage our products and technology in this market,” said David Walsh, founder and CEO of Intelsius. “This new subsidiary will enable Intelsius to develop a more targeted approach catered to this specific region, and I am confident that with the integration of DGP Intelsius Teo we are well positioned to exceed our customers’ expectations in Ireland.”
In line with the company’s international growth strategy, the formation of DGP Intelsius Teo aligns with the company’s growing global presence and core strategy of offering products globally with local supply. As such, former distributor DGP Ireland has been absorbed and will now be managed by IntelsiusTeo.
The expansion is also expected to have a positive impact on the local economy in Cork. John Lowery, CEO of ÚdarásnaGaeltachta, the State agency responsible for economic, social and cultural development, said he is delighted Intelsius choose to expand in Cork. “The Intelsius group is at the forefront of product innovation and the company’s requirements from the beginning were clear – highly trained staff and suitable business accommodation for what is a specialized enterprise.”
