YORK, United Kingdom – Intelsius, a DGP company, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of temperature-controlled packaging solutions based in York, announced the launch of its new ORCA™ range of products. The announcement was made on board the DFDS ship King Seaways in Newcastle today.
“We are delighted to add these high-performance products to our solutions and launch them here in the UK as we did last week in the US,” said David Walsh, CEO DGP Intelsius. “Not only will this range of products benefit our customers and protect their valuable payloads, but a portion of the proceeds of each sold in the UK and throughout Europe will be donated to our chosen whale and dolphin charity partner, ORCA,” Walsh said.
The ORCA line is a high-performance range of solutions that provide superior thermal protection for high value, temperature sensitive payloads. The entire ORCA range is ATMOS™ (Analytical Thermal Modeling Software) enabled allowing quick risk assessment for the suitability of ORCA on routes around the world.
“The ORCA range also has the option of utilizing our advanced proprietary Thermocline Technology™ (TCT) that allows the ORCA solutions 30 percent extended duration in warm to extreme heat environments and greater controlled pre-conditioning. Thermochromic labels provide visual verification of readiness for packing,” Walsh said.
The partnership with the ORCA charity aligns the growing global presence of Intelsius and its commitment to environmental stewardship. “We thank Intelsius for donating a portion of the proceeds from these products to help us,” said Sally Hamilton, ORCA executive director. Founded in 2000, ORCA is a marine conservation charity dedicated to forging links between people and the sea through the study of whales, dolphins and porpoises.
