Intelsius, a DGP company, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of temperature-controlled packaging solutions based in York, is asking what more can be done to enhance sustainability within the temperature-controlled packaging industry at the forthcoming FlyPharma conference, held in London 9-10 September.
Product Manager, David Johnson will be joining a line-up of other distinguished speakers from across the industry to highlight common pharma logistics issues and stimulate dialogue between the different supply chain stakeholders. David will be in the hot seat of a live ‘armchair interview’, which will look at the reluctance of the industry to re-use passive packaging and address the issue of environmental responsibility within pharma logistics.
David said: “Although active packaging is re-used daily all over the globe there is a reluctance to re-use passive packaging. In order to change mind-sets, perhaps as an industry we should move away from the term passive and active and consider single and muti-use instead?
“I am really looking forward to openly discussing these key environmental issues which impact our industry and hopefully generate some throught-provoking discussions to enable delegates to share ideas and develop solutions to solve pragmatic, real-life challenges that are faced in our industry on a day-to-day basis.”
David Johnston’s interview is held, 15:00-15:45, 10 September 2015 at the Fly Pharma conference, Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow.
